Commercial Real Estate - First Quarter 2020

Office - The Metro Denver office market vacancy rate increased slightly from 9.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019 to 10 percent in the first quarter of 2020. There was 330,000 square feet of positive net absorption in the fourth quarter of 2019, compared to 240,000 square feet of negative net absorption in the first quarter of 2020.

Industrial - Metro Denver's industrial market vacancy rate decreased slightly from 5.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2020 to 5.4 percent in the first quarter of 2020. Net absorption in the fourth quarter of 2019 totaled 330,000 square feet, compared to 380,000 square feet in the first quarter of 2020.
